Jana Magnussen

Jana Magnussen is the Chief People Officer for Guy Carpenter. She is a member of Guy Carpenter's Executive Committee and is responsible for executing on the Guy Carpenter global talent strategy across the region. Jana joined Marsh McLennan through the acquisition of Kirke-Van Orsdel, Inc., in 1999, as the HR Leader of the Marsh Consumer and Commercial division. Before moving to Guy Carpenter, Jana was the human resources leader for Marsh US and Canada.

Jana has over 25 years of Human Resources experience to include executive coaching, leadership development, colleague engagement, talent management, compensation, human capital analysis and process improvement. She strives to build an inclusive environment that respects and values all colleagues.

Jana attended the American Institute of Business and Upper Iowa University, where she majored in Business Management. Jana holds her Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designations as well as certifications in Spectiv 360 Assessment Advising and Predictive Index and Insights Discovery behavioral assessments.
