Guy Carpenter announced that Gregory King-Underwood has been promoted to Head of the Credit, Bond and Political Risk Practice of Guy Carpenter International, with immediate effect. He will report to James Nash, President of Guy Carpenter International.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Mr. King-Underwood was a Barrister at Carmelite Chambers specializing in Criminal and Regulatory law. He holds a BA (Hons) in Political Studies and a Masters in Finance and Investment.
He will be supported in the role by Alistair McVeigh who has been appointed as Deputy Head of the division. Mr. McVeigh was previously Managing Director, UK Practice Leader, Political Risks & Structured Credit at Marsh.

John Orchard, formerly practice leader, left Guy Carpenter after 11 years with the firm. "Since John joined in 2007 he has built an extremely successful and market-leading Credit, Bond and Political Risk business. We would like to thank John for all of his efforts in establishing and developing the team and for his contributions to Guy Carpenter," added Mr. Nash.
