Guy Carpenter, Marsh, Oliver Wyman and Mercer are businesses of Marsh McLennan.

One of the major topics they discuss concerns how cyber crime and cyber insecurity featured prominently among short-term and long-term risks among the more than 1,300 experts and policymakers worldwide whose insights contributed to the Global Risks Report, published by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Marsh McLennan.

“I think digital risk is probably one of the areas that we underestimate the most, given the rapid development in this area. And if you think about it, we were already becoming very dependent on technology before the pandemic. And then over the past years we've seen an accelerated digital transformation that has happened both across public and private sectors,” Carolina said. “And industries have undergone rapid digitization and workers have shifted to remote working. There's so much happening here.”
